Busy weekend, busy week
Went out to Lacombe for CDMFA U19 on Saturday with Parry, Dan, Jeff and Larry. LOOOOONNG came, but no ambulances and all the officials left the field in a vertical posture. Back on the stationary bike this morning but looking forward to some outdoor biking very soon. Will be working with Jason, Brad & co. at the Salvation Army Temple this week to setup, rehearse and present a choir live music event on Saturday. Gonna be some good music for sure!Tough weekend
Okay, did the CDMFA U19 game on Friday night and walked off the field feeling not too bad. Ended up at a swing dance event in Red Deer Saturday night and learned that swing dancing uses a whole different set of muscles! Then an awesome family dinner on Sunday. So this morning I was less than motivated to get on the bike. But I did nonetheless and now feel not too bad. hmmm.Prep for spring ball
30min on the bike in front of October 2023 CFL football - Ottawa at Toronto and the RedBlacks won't roll over for the Chosen Ones. That's just fine by me. Looking forward to getting on the field myself this evening with Brendan and the EFOA Reprobates.This June, we're riding to move kids' health forward!
Like all parents we wanted the best for our son, Matt. Supporting his active teenage lifestyle occasionally meant knowing the location of the nearest emergency room. And a couple times we leaned heavily on the Stollery to mend him when things went awry. For this we are eternally grateful and now try to support the Stollery so that other parents may have the same comfort.
